Botox® Cosmetic injections are performed by Dr. Gervais Fréchette in New York City and San Francisco.  It is a simple, non-surgical, physician administered treatment that temporarily smooths moderate to severe lines, furrows, folds and wrinkles.  Botox® is effective on men and women and is the only treatment of its type approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the purpose of reducing or eliminating lines, furrows, folds and wrinkles to the skin.

After one treatment of very small injections, patients will experience significant reduction if not the complete elimination of moderate to severe lines, furrows, folds and wrinkles.  These effects last up to or around at least 4 months but results may vary and could be effective for up to 9 months, depending on the individual, their metabolism and the number of procedures this patient has had.  Generally speaking, each treatment of Botox tends to last longer than the previous one as the muscles have spent more time in a relaxed position.

Dr. Frechette discusses a patient's concerns and addresses them by administering appropriate units of Botox.  Dr. Frechette recognizes the uniqueness of an individual's features.  No two faces are alike and treatments vary accordingly.  Some patients will require more units of Botox than others for a desired effect and prices will vary.  Dr. Frechette does not "water down" his Botox in order to promote a standard fee for "Botox Injections" as that idea is misleading.  Prices generally fall between $700. and $1,000. per treatment although this can vary.  Some patients may only need injections between the brow's while others may need extensive injections for multiple lines or folds throughout the forehead.  Dr. Frechette injects only full strength Botox for the longest lasting effects.  Five days to one week after a patient has received Botox injections from Dr. Frechette, they may return to Le Docteur for additional units free of charge to address areas that may require additional attention.

BOTOX® Cosmetic is a purified protein produced by the Clostridium botulinum bacterium, which relax muscles that over time cause those frown lines to form between the brows.
