I wanted to take the time to thank you for giving my face and my life back to me. For years I had worked as an actor and a singer, but once my HIV related facial wasting set in, I felt too self-conscious about my looks and the stigma associated with them to continue my career and I eventually left show business. About three years into my “retirement”, I got a call from a former employer I hadn’t seen in years. He offered me a job along with some other actors whom I knew from before my facial wasting began. Having just suffered the embarrassment of attending my college reunion and discovering my looks had changed so drastically that friends I had once been very close to no longer recognized me, I knew I had to do something about my face if I was going to accept this job.

I did end up accepting that job and after six sessions with you I attended my first rehearsal. Hi All;

I had my second treatment with the great Doctor my face appears completely restored. It was a bit uncomfortable, but worth the discomfort. I strongly recommend him. He is patient and shows great deal of expertise. I believe that the massage and cold ice treatment play a big role in the prevention of bumps under the skin that a lot of you have been complaining about. If anyone wants to see him he has an office in New York as well as San Francisco.

Re: massaging injection points for Sculptra

My instructions from Dr. Fréchette in NYC were to go right home or back to hotel and alternate ice for 20 mins, massage injections points for 20 mins, if can be reached from inside mouth, include that too, and then rest for 20 mins. Repeat this process 4 times. This seems to have worked well for me. I have had 4 treatments and I only have one very small, say the size of a pinhead hard nodule under my eye socket. It is only noticeable when I feel for it; it is not visible. I assume that this only occurred because I was hesitant to massage to vigorously near my eyes for sake of avoiding bruises, which can easily happen after injections in that area. I do not have any bumps in my cheeks. I was also told by Dr. Fréchette that if lumps or bumps do happen they can be dissolved by injection. Overall I have been extremely pleased with the results.
